Additional Information

  • Please be aware that the objective of this scan is to determine any anomaly in the baby at the time of the scan. At Clayton Clinic, we will always try our best to achieve this objective, but assert that there are difficulties, occasionally, depending on several factors. It is possible that certain anomalies are not clear and visible and may not be identified at the time of the scan. Within the industry, including the NHS, ultrasound is regarded as a screening tool, and not a diagnostic test. Clayton Clinic takes no responsibility for any anomalies that emerge or become apparent at a later date in the pregnancy.

  • Please also note that we request mothers to attend with a full bladder.
